Discover a World of Wonder

Virginia Rosinger. 1920-1968

In 1940 as a teenager, Virginia Rosinger submitted a portrait of her brother to a contest and won a full scholarship to the art school of the High Museum in Atlanta. Afterwards she worked as a fashion artist for two Atlanta department stores. But her enduring passion was illustrating stories, particularly for children, and over the next 20 years she produced hundreds of paintings, sketches, and cartoons inspired by her love of nature, enchantment, and childhood wonder.
